Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles using computerized equipment to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Complete routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. Repair and replace parts such as brakes, engines, and electrical systems while adhering to all safety protocols. Perform quality control checks to ensure repairs are correct and vehicles are safe to drive. Keep accurate records of all work performed and communicate with customers to explain repairs and answer questions. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Strong understanding of mechanics and automotive systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification is preferred
