Job Summary

Automotive Technician responsible for performing basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting to ensure proper vehicle performance and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include applying in-depth automotive repair knowledge, performing skilled mechanical work, diagnosing and replacing faulty parts, conducting preventative maintenance, staying current with automotive technology, upholding company policies and safety standards, maintaining a safe and organized work area, and delivering high-quality service while fostering trust with customers. Qualifications emphasize automotive service experience (minimum 2 years), tools, a valid license, ability to pass a background check, strong communication and customer-service skills, and willingness to work weekends. The role reports to Store and Service Managers and may involve a production-rate pace in a hands-on, customer-facing environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ automotive service experience
  • ASE Certification preferred but not required
  • Must have Technician Tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate and drive vehicles
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Top-notch customer service skills
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
