Job Summary

Automotive Technician responsibilities include performing basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the vehicle performs correctly and customers are satisfied. Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge, diagnose problems, inspect/replace/repair defective parts, perform preventative maintenance, and stay current with evolving automotive technology. Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area and adhere to company policies and safety standards; demonstrate professionalism with customers, coworkers, managers, and suppliers and support long-term customer relationships. Requires 2+ years of professional automotive experience, tools, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work Saturdays/Sundays.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ automotive service or mechanic experience
  • ASE Certification preferred but not required
  • Must have Technician Tools
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to operate and drive vehicles
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Top-notch customer service skills
  • Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
