Job Summary
Automotive Technician provides automotive maintenance and repair services, diagnosing and repairing vehicles, inspecting for potential problems, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Responsibilities include applying in-depth automotive repair knowledge, delivering high-quality service, diagnosing problems, performing preventative maintenance, staying current with automotive technology, and upholding company policies and safety standards; requires 2+ years of relevant experience, tools, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work weekends; ASE certification is preferred but not required; strong customer service and communication skills are essential; employment is in-person at Alabaster, AL locations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years automotive service/auto mechanic/engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screen
- Must have Technician Tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
