Job Summary
Perform basic vehicle repairs, maintenance, and emissions testing on inventory cars while managing vehicle movement and repair documentation in DT systems. Explain automotive issues to management to minimize re-work and delays, maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work space. Keep area organized to ensure safety and compliance standards are met during daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Certificate or Associates degree in automotive technology
- 2 years or more of work experience in automotive repair
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently
- Ability to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet
- Ability to communicate in English
- Proficiency in basic automotive repair
- Ability to meet metric performance targets
- Ability to learn and operate basic computer systems
- Organization and punctuality
- Ability to maintain a safe and compliant work space
- Good communication skills to present findings and share with leadership
- Ability to adhere to regular and predictable attendance
- Ability to communicate in English to ensure effective performance of the position in a safety-sensitive/technical environment
