Job Summary
Automotive Technician needed to maintain a diverse fleet including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls; operating standard and manual transmission; using diagnostic equipment and tools; and complying with DOT requirements. Must have active state driver’s license, own hand tools, and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts with varying weekly schedules. Compensation starts at $39.38/hour with full benefits and weekly pay; environment includes variable temperatures and exposure to petroleum products and noise. Required Qualifications
- Active driver’s license issued by the state
- Class A/B or A CDL preferred
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and scan tools
- Current automotive mechanical experience
- Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shifts (various schedules)
- Availability for overtime as needed
- Wears PPE and works in variable conditions
