Job Summary
Diagnose, maintain, and repair cars, trucks, and SUVs by performing repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications. Work on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC based on skill level using modern diagnostic tools and Ford service equipment. Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle needs. Perform warranty repairs according to Ford specifications while continuing to develop technical skills through training and hands-on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive repair or service experience
- Automotive education or training
- NYS Inspection License
- ASE or manufacturer certifications
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
- Willingness to learn new vehicle technology and repair procedures
- Dependable, positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
