Job Summary
Automotive Technicians at CarMax are responsible for diagnosing, reconditioning, and repairing vehicles to meet high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include collaborating with a team to resolve technical issues, managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and promoting safety and cleanliness. Required skills include experience with engine repair and suspensions, manual dexterity, and good communication. Candidates should maintain relevant ASE Certifications as required by their State/Local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Maintain ASE Certifications where required by State/Local law
