Job Summary
Automotive Technician responsible for mechanical repairs in service center, including complete disc/drum brake service, diagnosing braking system issues, and servicing engines, suspension/steering, electrical, and HVAC systems. Must use computer systems to provide estimates, perform road tests, and ensure guest care and high-quality work. Secondary duties include lubrication, fuel-system cleaning, tire rotations, and other ancillary services. Requires 1-3 years automotive experience, knowledge of brake systems, ASE certification (A5) or equivalent, and a high school diploma or equivalent; ASE certifications in additional areas preferred. The role emphasizes teamwork, communication with guests, and maintaining a clean, presentable workstation. Location: Chillicothe, OH; full-time role with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 Years of Automotive Experience
- 1-2 Years of Experience working on Brake Systems
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in A5 - Brakes
- ASE certification(s) in Engine performance, Suspension & Steering, Electrical Systems, Heating & Air Conditioning preferred
- Automotive technical or trade school degree a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
