Job Summary
Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently, including basic suspension, steering, brake, alignment, and tire services. Perform routine vehicle inspections using multi-point forms, execute work per repair orders, and document all tasks accurately. Diagnose and address safety issues by examining assigned vehicles and staying updated on factory bulletins, campaigns, and recalls. Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and complete required training for compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain a valid driver's license and basic tools to support efficient, accurate service delivery in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
