Job Summary
Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently, including suspension, steering, brake, alignment, tire, and fluid services. Perform routine vehicle inspections using multi-point forms, execute work on repair orders per factory standards, and document all tasks accurately. Diagnose basic issues, manage recalls, and examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations through required training and stay current on manufacturer bulletins and campaigns. Assist senior technicians with complex repairs as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
