Job Summary
Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently, including basic suspension, steering, brake, alignment, and tire services. Perform routine vehicle inspections using multi-point forms, execute work on repair orders per factory standards, and document all tasks accurately. Diagnose and address fluid maintenance, TPMS repairs, and battery installations while staying current on manufacturer bulletins, campaigns, and recalls. Examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs and adhere to federal and state regulations regarding hazardous waste and OSHA compliance. Assist senior technicians with complex repairs as needed. Requires previous "D" level technician experience, valid driver's license, and basic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
