Job Summary
Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently, including basic suspension, steering, brake, and alignment work. Perform routine vehicle inspections using multi-point forms, document all work on repair orders, and execute manufacturer recalls when certified. Assist senior technicians with complex repairs, examine vehicles for additional safety needs, and stay current on factory bulletins and campaigns. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations regarding hazardous waste and OSHA standards. Requires previous "D" level experience, valid driver's license, and basic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
