Job Summary
Complete preventive maintenance and light line repairs independently, including basic suspension, steering, brake diagnosis, alignments, tire services, and fluid exchanges. Perform routine vehicle inspections using multi-point forms, execute work on repair orders per factory standards, and document all tasks accurately. Diagnose safety needs, review factory bulletins for recalls and campaigns, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations. Assist senior technicians with complex repairs as needed. Requires prior "D" level technician experience, valid driver's license, and basic tools.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience as a "D" level tech
- Must have good prior work or school attendance
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have basic tools
- Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Automotive technical school certifications preferred but not required
