Job Summary
Automotive Technician with Bridgestone Retail Operations seeks to learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under supervision. Responsibilities include changing oil and scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems, installing batteries, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road-testing vehicles. May interact with customers to explain repairs. Opportunities to obtain A.S.E. certifications within two years (tests/fees paid by company). Minimum qualifications include ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and a valid driver8 license; basic automotive knowledge and math/writing/reading skills. Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience, vocational-technical schooling, and ASE certifications.
