Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) supports the automotive service team by learning and performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on vehicles, including oil changes, tire maintenance, brake and steering/suspension inspections, battery installation, and road testing. The role involves hands-on learning under experienced technicians, customer interactions to explain repairs, and contributing to high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be able to obtain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within the first two years, have a valid driver's license, and possess basic mechanical knowledge; preferred qualifications include 2 years of automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training and ASE certification or equivalent. The position offers a pay range of $17.50-$26.30 per hour (flat-rate pay) and benefits such as healthcare, paid vacation/holidays, and 401(k) matching.
