Job Summary
Automotive Technician role at Bridgestone Retail Operations focusing on hands-on vehicle diagnosis, repair, and maintenance within our automotive service team. Responsibilities include changing oil and scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering/suspension/brake systems, installing batteries, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. The role involves communicating with customers about repairs and providing high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. A sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires is offered, with a pay range of $16.63–$24.99 per hour (flat-rate pay). Opportunities for ASE certifications are supported and the role emphasizes ongoing training and development.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
- Reading, writing, and math skills
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company)
- Two years of automotive repair experience preferred (for preferred qualifications)
