Job Summary
Automotive Technician role within Bridgestone Retail Operations: learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on vehicles under guidance of experienced technicians; conduct oil changes, inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems, battery installs, electrical checks, tire maintenance, parts installation, and road tests; interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide high-quality service; pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within the first two years; requires a valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude; flat-rate pay structure reflects productivity and regional variations.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Repairing tires
- Reading, writing, and math skills
