Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) under Bridgestone Americas. You will learn and perform diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under supervision, including oil changes, inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems, battery installation, tire maintenance, part installations, and road testing. May interact with customers to explain repairs. Opportunities to pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years. Pay is flat-rate based on productivity, with compensation reflecting regional averages. Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Reading, writing, and math skills
- Experience with tire repair
- Willingness to obtain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (A.S.E. certifications or equivalent)
