Job Summary

Automotive Technician position within the Bridgestone Retail Operations automotive service team. You will learn and perform diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance, including routine inspections, tire maintenance, and customer interactions. Responsibilities include oil changes, inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems, battery and electrical checks, tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing. Opportunity to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years (fees covered). Requires a valid driver’s license and basic mechanical knowledge; preferred candidates have 2 years of automotive repair experience or completed Vocational-Technical School in a related field, with ASE or equivalent certifications encouraged. Required Qualifications

  • Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
  • 2 years of automotive repair experience (preferred).
  • Completion of Vocational-Technical School program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third party certificates/assessment (preferred).
  • A.S.E certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications (preferred).
