Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations responsible for oil changes, inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems, battery installation, tire maintenance, parts installation, and road testing. Pursues ASE certifications within the first two years of employment (tests/fees paid by company). Requires valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude; strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced retail environment. Provides customer explanations of repair procedures and delivers exceptional service; paid on a performance-based flat-rate pay model.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Repairing tires
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
