Job Summary
Automotive Technician responsible for learning and performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles under guidance. Performs oil changes, inspections of steering/suspension/brake systems, battery installation, tire maintenance, parts installation, and road testing. Communicates repair procedures to customers and delivers high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Requires obtaining or maintaining ASE certifications within two years and a valid driver's license; compensation is flat-rate with performance-based pay and company-provided benefits and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes; Basic inspections; Reading, writing, and math skills.
