Job Summary
Automotive Technician role with Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under supervision. Responsibilities include changing oil and other scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems, installing batteries and checking electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. Opportunity to obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years (company covers tests/fees). Requires a valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude; preferred 2 years of automotive repair experience or related technical education/certifications. Required Qualifications
- Must obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1–A8 within first two years of employment
- Minimum Qualifications: Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks; valid automobile driver's license; basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services; oil changes; basic inspections; tire repairing; reading, writing, and math skills.
