Job Summary
Automotive Technician role within Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) performing hands-on diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of vehicles under supervision. Responsibilities include changing oil and scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems, installing batteries and checking electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. Opportunity to interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide high-quality service. Must obtain/maintain ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years. Requires a valid driver’s license and basic mechanical/tire repair knowledge. Competitive, performance-based flat-rate pay with pay range $17.50–$26.30 per hour and company-funded ASE certifications; full-time benefits and training opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Repairing tires
- Reading, writing, and math skills
- Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least one of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment (Tests and registrations fees are paid for by company pass or fail. Technicians receive bonus for each test passed)
