Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, performing oil changes, inspections of steering/suspension/brake systems, tire maintenance, battery installation, and road testing. You may interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide exceptional service. The role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Minimum qualifying tasks include oil changes, tire repair/maintenance, basic inspections, and obtaining ASE certification within the first two years of employment (tests/fees covered by the company). A valid driver's license is required. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of automotive repair experience and completion of related Vocational-Technical training or ASE certifications.
