Job Summary
The Automotive Technician will learn and perform foundational automotive service tasks under guidance, including diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Responsibilities include changing oil and scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems, installing batteries and checking electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. The role involves interacting with customers to explain repair procedures and deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. Opportunities exist to obtain ASE certifications within the first two years of employment, with company-paid test fees and a bonus for each certification achieved. Pay is based on a flat-rate model and reflects regional productivity. Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
- Basic inspections
- Reading, writing, and math skills
- 2 years of automotive repair experience (preferred)
- A.S.E certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications (preferred)
