Job Summary
Receive and carry out repair orders, perform diagnostics, and provide labor, time, and parts estimates for required repairs. Execute high-quality repairs on engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning following BMW Center standards, then conduct quality control checks. Complete necessary paperwork, maintain a clean workspace, and communicate directly with Service Advisors and Parts Department employees. Participate in continuous BMW proprietary training to stay updated on industry-leading technologies. Must have at least five years of hands-on automotive repair experience, valid driver's license, and be authorized to work in the USA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Own a valid driver's license
- At least 5+ years previous of hands on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Ideally some prior experience in European brand service and repair
- Previous European automotive technician experience a plus
- ASE certifications a plus
