Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain BMW vehicles at the Freeport dealership. You’ll perform diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance work for customer and dealership vehicles, receive and carry-out repair orders, provide labor/time/parts estimates, and complete required paperwork. You’ll work on systems including engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning to BMW Center and Factory standards, conduct Quality Control checks, and participate in continual BMW training to hone skills in BMW automotive technologies and processes. Strong communication with Service Advisors and Parts Department, and a focus on safety, organization, and customer experience. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 18+, a valid driver’s license, and 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience; European-brand experience and ASE certifications are a plus. This role offers a salary range of $72,000-$90,000 and requires authorization to work in the USA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Own a valid driver’s license
- At least 2+ years previous of hands on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivelant
- Previous European automotive technician experience a plus
- ASE certifications a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license
