Job Summary
BMW of El Paso is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer and dealership vehicles using advanced diagnostic technologies. Responsibilities include receiving and carrying-out repair orders, performing diagnostic services and troubleshooting, providing labor/time/parts estimates, repairing systems (engine, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning) per center and factory standards, conducting quality control checks, completing repair documentation, maintaining an organized workspace and tools, communicating with Service Advisors and Parts Department staff, and participating in BMW-proprietary training. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience (European-brand experience a plus), and be authorized to work in the USA; ASE certifications are a plus. In-person role based in El Paso, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Possess great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Own a valid driver’s license
- At least 2+ years previous of hands on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent
- Previous European automotive technician experience a plus
- ASE certifications a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
