Job Summary
Automotive Technician role at Schomp BMW in the Denver area focusing on diagnosing and repairing BMW vehicles to factory standards. Responsibilities include handling repair orders, diagnostics, labor/time/parts estimates, performing high-quality repairs on engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C, conducting quality control, documenting all work, maintaining an organized workspace, and communicating with Service Advisors and Parts. The role requires ongoing BMW training, a strong set of mechanical/electrical/computing skills, 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience (European experience a plus), HS diploma, valid driver’s license, and authorization to work in the USA. Pre-employment screening (background/MVR) is required; ASE certifications are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Great mechanical, electrical, and computing skills
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Own a valid driver’s license
- At least 5+ years hands-on automotive repair experience in a professional environment or equivalent
- Previous European automotive technician experience a plus
- ASE certifications a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background check, MVR check, and maintenance of a valid driver's license
