Job Summary
Automotive Technician responsible for inspecting vehicles, performing engine/brake/suspension repairs, and completing routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements) to ensure safety and quality. Utilize diagnostic equipment and computer systems to diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive problems, test-drive vehicles, and maintain accurate inspection records. Provide professional customer service by explaining repair recommendations and estimates, collaborate with management to coordinate workflow, mentor junior technicians, and adhere to OSHA safety policies. The role requires strong integrity, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced automotive retail/repair environment, with travel up to 25% and a schedule that may include weekends; position is full-time onsite in Mustang, OK, with salary between $16 and $28 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active/unrestricted driver’s license
- Possess and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)
- Experience: minimum one year related experience preferred
- ASE or other relevant certifications preferred
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
