Job Summary
Perform general repairs and diagnosis on customer vehicles, including light engine work, transmissions, electrical systems, and HVAC. Conduct multi-point inspections, road tests, and preventive maintenance while documenting all work on assigned repair orders. Communicate with service advisors regarding additional needs or delays, and maintain manufacturer certifications to ensure CSI scores meet district goals. Complete warranty repairs, file claims, and adhere to federal and state regulations for hazardous waste disposal and vehicle safety.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must have basic tools
- Must have great technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
