Job Summary
Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles, including light engine work, transmissions, and electrical systems. Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form and document all work performed on assigned repair orders. Conduct road tests to confirm work was successfully completed when necessary and practical. Perform preventive maintenance services and maintain manufacturer certifications to support the CSI Customer Satisfaction Index goals. Report any safety or integrity concerns to management and ensure customer vehicles are returned clean. Complete required training for compliance with federal and state regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must have basic tools
- Must have great technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certifications heavily preferred
- Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred
