Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, perform maintenance tasks (oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections), ensure parts are in stock and restock supplies as needed, complete final scorecards for each vehicle before sale, keep the work area and lift bays clean and organized, and communicate repair progress with service advisors. The role involves working independently while collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality repairs, manage inventory, and uphold safety and efficiency in a full-time schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional Saturdays). Training on diagnostic tools and new systems is provided, with opportunities for performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a mechanic or automotive technician
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and standard repair equipment
- Familiarity with routine maintenance and more advanced vehicle repairs
- Ability to maintain organized workspace and accurate repair records
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
