Job Summary
Work alongside an experienced auto technician to diagnose and repair vehicles across several manufacturer lines, ensuring all mechanical repairs meet manufacturer specifications. Complete manufacturer required training, perform warranty and recall repairs, and execute ADA installs upon completion of training. Document repair history by creating Repair Orders, maintain vehicle repair history, and comply with part and inventory tracking procedures. Utilize diagnostic tools and manufacturer websites, process fleet and tire services, and update job knowledge through approved training. Maintain a safe, clean work area while following health, safety, and environmental standards. This role requires ASE certifications, a valid driver's license, and full-time availability including weekends and nights.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ current and valid ASE certifications
- Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
- A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be able to work Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of automotive technical training at an accredited technical or trade school preferred
- a minimum of three years of technical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles preferred
- Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
