Job Summary
Seeking an Automotive Technician Apprentice to learn from Certified Technicians and grow into a qualified technician. Responsibilities include assisting with diagnosing and repairing customer and dealership vehicles, disassembling/reassembling components, supporting comprehensive vehicle inspections, recording diagnostic findings and safety concerns, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, properly storing tools, and completing dealership-provided training and certifications. The role offers paid training/certification opportunities, competitive pay, full-time schedule (Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday), and a path toward career advancement within the Sterling Automotive Group.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old due to insurance requirements
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
