Job Summary
Perform maintenance and repair orders with efficiency while diagnosing and fixing vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, and braking components. Work independently and as a team to drive maximum repair efficiency, consistently detailing repairs to ensure vehicles are fixed right the first time. Inspect shop equipment, test new vehicles, and explain mechanical diagnoses in non-technical terms to service advisors and customers. Continue ongoing training to stay abreast of new technology and techniques on vehicle model lines.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience as an automotive technician (4 years or more)
- Team oriented
- Flexible
- High energy
- Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience as an automotive technician preferred (4 years or more)
- Vocational/Technical or certification preferred
