Job Summary
Diagnose and repair major vehicle components including engine systems, brakes, suspension, and electrical issues while performing multi-point inspections and road tests. Execute work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, documenting all tasks and communicating with service advisors regarding additional needs or delays. Utilize handheld diagnostic tools to identify malfunctions, conduct manufacturer-sponsored training, and mentor novice technicians. Ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and compliant with federal and state regulations, while maintaining a Customer Satisfaction Index at or above district goals.
Required Qualifications
- ASE certifications
- Manufacturer certifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must have basic tools
- Must have great technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Must be a Master or Level 'A' Service Technician
