Job Summary
Diagnose and repair major vehicle components including engine systems, brakes, suspension, and HVAC by performing work outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy. Examine assigned vehicles for safety or service needs, utilize handheld devices to identify malfunctions, and conduct road tests to confirm successful repairs. Document all work performed on repair orders, communicate with service advisors regarding additional requirements, and maintain manufacturer certifications for engine control, electric, and hydraulic systems. Assist fellow technicians, train novice team members, and ensure customer vehicles are returned clean and compliant with federal and state regulations.
Required Qualifications
- ASE certifications
- Manufacturer certifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must have basic tools
- Must have great technical and mechanical skills
- Must be a team player and have the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks
- Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
Desired Qualifications
- Must be a Master or Level 'A' Service Technician
