Job Summary
Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to manufacturers' specifications and guidelines. Complete required manufacturer training, perform warranty and recall repairs, and maintain vehicle repair history by documenting Repair Orders. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to provide safe, reliable vehicles while complying with part, inventory, and health safety procedures. May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs. Maintain a clean work area and perform manual labor involving lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires two years of mechanical experience, valid driver's license, and current ASE certifications. Schedule includes Sunday, Wednesday through Saturday shifts up to 40 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
- OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications
- Hire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 4 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire
- Current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
- Minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products
- Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
- Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Sunday: 10A-6:30P
- Wednesday: 1:30-10P
- Thursday: 1:30-10P
- Friday: 12P-8:30p
- Saturday: 7A-3:30P
- Working up to 40 hours per week
- Ability to perform manual labor, such as, bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
- Moderate physical activity which requires handling of objects up to 50 pounds with long periods of standing and walking
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures
