Job Summary
Automotive Technician role with ORW | 4WP offering installation and service of aftermarket components on trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. Responsibilities include installing suspensions, alignments, gears, wheel/tire mounting and balancing, and accessory installations (bumpers, lights, winches, etc.), performing vehicle alignments with Hunter Hawkeye equipment, inspecting repairs for quality, maintaining records, operating TPMS tools, and using computer systems to manage work orders. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, ability to follow specifications, communicate professionally with team and customers, adherence to safety/environmental rules, PPE use, and maintaining a clean, safe shop. Preferred: experience with lift kits, lighting, welding, axle/drivetrain work, and ASE certifications. The role emphasizes delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service within a nationwide off-road brand environment, with opportunities for growth and potential commission alongside base pay.
Required Qualifications
- Experience installing aftermarket accessories for trucks and Jeeps
- Experience with mount and balance, suspension components, and accessory installations
- Possess your own set of professional tools
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and at least 5 years of driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., independently, and 100 lbs. with team assistance
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders
- Ability to work scheduled store hours at the assigned location
