Job Summary
CarMax is hiring Automotive Technicians to inspect, recondition, and repair vehicles, ensuring high standards for customer safety and satisfaction. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, collaborating in a fast-paced environment, and adhering to health and safety guidelines. Ideal candidates should possess experience in automotive repair, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. ASE Certifications are required where applicable, and physical stamina for lifting and extended periods of standing is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, heating and air conditioning
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance
- Manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- Maintain ASE Certifications where required by State/Local law
