Job Summary
Identify vehicle service needs and perform repair, service, and maintenance on customer vehicles at East Bay BMW. Assess required repairs, estimate costs, perform maintenance and repairs per dealership and manufacturer guidelines, document services, utilize service tools and timekeeping systems, and ensure high CSI through quality workmanship and customer interaction. Requires thorough automotive knowledge, licensed/certified technician credentials, and 5+ years of experience; compensation ranges from $33.80 to $55.00 per hour with potential production bonus. Standard dealership expectations include safe work practices, ongoing training, and alignment with the Hendrick/ dealership core values.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer
- State inspection/emissions license
- All required manufacturer fundamental training and/or NAPA training provided by HAG
- Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests
- Completed manufacturer training to perform: warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs
