Job Summary
Lead all automotive and general service operations at a multi-million dollar Midas location, including managing technicians, customer service, pricing estimates, and daily sales reporting. Drive safety, cost control, inventory management, and environmental compliance while delivering strong leadership to foster a productive team culture. Responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, scheduling, and performance management, as well as overseeing inspections, repair recommendations, and shop service specials to promote customer satisfaction and retention. Requires experience in automotive repair, supervisory/managerial experience, P&L involvement, and the ability to guide operations, morale, and growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of store or service manager experience
- General automotive knowledge
- Excellent customer service disposition
- Good communication skills
- Strong POS computer and Internet skills
- Leadership ability
- Team building skills
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
- Valid driver’s license
