Job Summary

Apply protective undercoating evenly to vehicle underbodies while safely moving and positioning vehicles in the work area. Raise and lower vehicles using approved automotive lift procedures, prepare surfaces, and protect components from overspray. Operate and clean spray guns, hoses, compressors, and related equipment. Inspect vehicles before and after service for damage, coverage, and workmanship. Follow all PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures to maintain a clean, organized, and productive work area. Report vehicle damage, equipment problems, safety concerns, or quality issues. Meet daily production and quality expectations in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license and driving record meeting company MVR requirements
  • Ability to safely operate automatic-transmission vehicles
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, safety instructions, chemical labels, and equipment procedures
  • Ability to safely learn and operate automotive lifts and spray equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, work beneath raised vehicles, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment
  • Ability to pass required pre-employment screening

  • Automotive undercoating or rustproofing
  • Spray-in bed liner or protective coating application
  • Automotive detailing or vehicle reconditioning
  • Auto body, collision repair, or paint preparation
  • Spray painting, industrial coating, waterproofing, or sealant application
  • Automotive service, tire, or quick-lube work
  • Manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or production work
  • Automotive lift, compressor, pneumatic-tool, or spray-equipment operation
  • Vehicle inspection or quality-control experience
