Job Summary
Diagnose mechanical and drivability concerns and perform engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, steering, brake, and electrical repairs for the Heavy-Line Mechanic role. Complete major component removal, repair, and replacement while documenting findings and communicating with service advisors. For Lube Technicians, perform oil and filter changes, rotate tires, check fluid levels, and conduct multipoint vehicle inspections. Replace filters, wiper blades, and other maintenance components while maintaining a clean work area. Earn up to $50 per flag hour based on experience and productivity. Entry-level candidates receive hands-on training to build technical skills and advance within the service team.
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional automotive repair experience
- Experience completing heavy-line or major mechanical repairs
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to flag hours consistently while maintaining quality
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Personal tools appropriate for the position
- Positive attitude, accountability, and strong work ethic
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in the automotive industry
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Willingness to learn, train, and accept coaching
