Job Summary
Automotive Service Technician needed at Toyota of Scranton. Responsibilities include performing multipoint safety inspections, completing repairs per repair orders with accuracy, communicating with the parts department and service advisor, road testing vehicles, and participating in manufacturer-sponsored training. Requires valid driver’s license, automotive repair experience, knowledge of automotive systems, willingness to obtain ASE certifications, strong communication and customer-service skills, computer literacy, and the ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. High school diploma or equivalent required; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a Valid driver's license
- Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience required
- Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
- Certification or desire to obtain certification in all ASE standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team player
- Computer literate
- Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
