Job Summary
Test systems and components to ensure they are secure and functioning properly, then isolate specific faults causing issues. Drive vehicles for testing purposes and maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing cars. Repair or replace worn parts before breakdowns occur using power tools, machine tools, and hand tools. Operate electronic diagnostic equipment to perform various tasks while identifying problems quickly in a fast-paced environment. Must be ASE Certified with at least one year of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to identify the problem quickly
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
- Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Minimum of 1-year experience
- Computer Skills
- Positive, friendly attitude
- Must be ASE Certified Technician
