Job Summary
Automotive Service Technician role at Sheehy Auto Stores with Lexus brand responsibilities. Diagnose and repair client and dealership vehicles, discuss repairs with the shop foreman or service advisor, and communicate additional service requests. Plan work procedures with the shop foreman, provide labor time estimates, and monitor repair time. Maintain adherence to dealership policies, complete documentation for client repairs, mentor technician trainees, and participate in company and factory training. Stay current with factory technical bulletins and follow federal/state/local regulations including safe disposal of hazardous waste; keep the vehicle clean; apply proper PPE and safety standards in the shop. Requires high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of related experience, valid U.S. work authorization, and a clean driving record; background checks and drug screening are standard. The role is based in Richmond, VA, in-person, with compensation ranging from $50K to $200K depending on experience and certifications.
Required Qualifications
