Job Summary
Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment. Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems, then road-test vehicles to verify successful fixes. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while adhering to all company safety policies. Provide timely updates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology and uphold company values in all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience as an Automotive Flat Rate Technician
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass background check, MVR, and drug screening
Desired Qualifications
- National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) or certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance
